Syra Yousuf to feature in music video for Atif Aslam's 'Raat'

Atif Aslam is releasing a new song soon and the music video is going to feature model and actress Syra Yousuf.

Aslam posted a teaser for the song, titled 'Raat', on his Twitter and YouTube accounts.

We last saw him performing a rendition of Kadi Te Hans for Velo Sound Station in November and everyone has been waiting for the return of the 'King of Pop'.

The teaser for the song features a picture of Yousuf and Aslam staring soulfully into each other's eyes.

The teaser only reveals a short 17-second clip of the music for the song and it seems likely that Aslam is releasing another ballad.

The music video for 'Raat' is being directed by film maker and fellow singer Yasir Jaswal, who also worked on Velo Sound Station. He's also the brother of singers and actors Uzair and Umair Jaswal.

Aslam is well known in Pakistan and across the border in India. However, his music suffered after the All Indian Cine Workers Association banned artists from Pakistan from working across the border. T-Series removed his song 'Kinna Sona' from the 2019 action drama Marjaavaan starring Tara Sutaria and Sidharth Malhotra.
