Kangana Ranaut thinks Tapsee Pannu is impersonating her

Cinema halls may be closed and movies aren't coming out at the same pace as before but Kangana Ranaut seems to have pledged to keep her fans entertained with real-life drama, with Tapsee Pannu being the latest target of her online criticism — criticism that often transcends the fine line between passing a comment and bullying.

After the Queen actor's sister Rangoli called Pannu a 'cheap copy' of Ranaut, fans have been using Twitter to prove her point, often sharing pictures of the duo in similar poses, side by side.

Kangana took to acknowledge one such picture, adding a snarky, and rather uncalled-for remark of her own.

"Ha ha ha I am flattered, she is a true fan, dedicated her whole existence to study and impersonate me to the point of dessolution, it is rather impressive," she posted. What followed, however, was even more surprising.

"No other female superstar has taken over pop culture the way I have. I am the most mimicked superstar after Mr Bachchan," the Tanu Weds Manu actor added.

Tapsee, without taking any names, cleverly replied to the jab with a quote of her own. "ThoughtOfTheDay, actually almost everyday now," she titled it.

"A competent and self-confident person is incapable of jealousy in anything. Jealousy is invariably a symptom of neurotic insecurity," she added.

But Kangana isn't one to hold back and stooped to some personal attacks once again, this time doing it with a personal picture of the Judwa 2 actor.

"What is my future before this genius, it makes me so anxious and jealous to even think about it. I don’t know about others but I don’t want to exist in a world where this supernova of art, beauty and talent exists..." she ironically replied.

Previously, she had called Pannu a "chaploos outsider," accusing her of going the extra mile to be in the good books of renowned directors. According to Kangana, disagreeing with her opinion would be one such way.

"Many chaploos outsiders consistently try to derail the movements started by Kangana, they want to be in movie mafia's good books, they get movies and awards for attacking Kangana and they take part in open harassment of a woman. Shame on you. You reap the fruits of her struggles but gang up on her," Ranaut had posted.

This isn't the first time Kangana is attacking a Bollywood outsider; previously, she resorted to personal jabs at Diljit Dosanjh, calling him a "paltu" pet for renowned director Karan Johar.
