Ertugrul star Engin Altan meets three little fans from Pakistan

Granting the wishes of those suffering from terminally ill diseases, Pakistan's Make-A-Wish foundation recently arranged a virtual meet-up between Ertugrul star Engin Altan and his three little fans who expressed their desire to meet the hero.

Hosted by Ayesha Omar, the ceremony took place in Karachi and was attended by the Turkish Concul General Tolga Ucak, amongst other prominent Pakistani names from the industry such as Zeba Bakhtiar, Nadeem Baig and Humayun Saeed.

The event began with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by an introduction to the organisation and the three children (Sohail, Sidra and Fizza) who's heartiest wish was to meet the Dirilis: Ertugrul actor.

"I saw the drama on PTV and it made me so happy because it educated me on Islamic history and its brave soldiers," said Sohail. The 16-year-old then addressed the actor and revealed he held him in high regard since every time Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was mentioned, the actor had put his hand on his heart.

"I loved that gesture the most," he exclaimed.

The kids were also in awe of the way Ertugrul fought in the series, making his acting look realistic and so believable. Dressed like their favourite characters from the series, the children excitedly asked the star, "Tell us, how do we look?"

Altan, overwhelmed with the love, was full of praise and expressed his own excitement at visiting Pakistan soon. "Thank you very much, I can see I inspired you and I am very happy for this love," he said, beaming.
