Wonder Woman has entered the 80s in sequel's latest trailer
The much awaited sequel to 2017's Wonder Woman is getting ready for its release.
Wonder Woman: 1984 released its first trailer and and things are going retro for Diana Prince.
Diana's love interest from the original flick, Steve (Chris Pine) is back in the 80s and hasn't aged a bit. We're not told how he made it or whether he is a figment of her imagination but we'll have to wait for the movie to find out.
We get a glimpse of Kristen Wiig, who is said to be playing Barbera Minerva - Wonder Woman villain Cheetah - in the flick. With Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord promising to give people anything they desire, we have an idea about her origins. Maxwell Lord himself looks rather different from the books, so we're intrigued to see how he plays a part in the overall story.
The action sequences and cinematography have our attention; Wonder Woman is literally swinging on lightning! We just hope the Amazonians get more screen time in this movie since we wanted much more of them in the first flick.
Wonder Woman 1984 is set to release on June 5, 2020.
