Maleficent 2's trailer introduces us to a whole new world

Five years after the first part, Angelina Jolie will be seen in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and it seems just as magical as before!

Jolie will reprise her iconic role as the antagonist of the film, Maleficent herself.

The original Maleficent told the story of Sleeping Beauty from the perspective of the villain, revealing the backstory to why she cursed a baby Princess Aurora. As the story goes, on Aurora’s 16th birthday, she would prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and fall into a deep sleep from which she will never awaken.

The dark fantasy became a box office smash, grossing over $750 million at the global box office.

The trailer features some prominent actors such as Maleficent (Angelina Jolie), Diaval (Sam Riley), Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning), and Prince Phillip (Harris Dickinson) as well as Queen Ingrith (Michelle Pfeiffer).

The clip definitely has us wanting more; as the previous movie ended with peace between the fairies and humans, It makes one wonder how short-lived this union was. Disney fans, be ready because the movie will be out in theatres on October 18, 2019.
