Mohsin Abbas Haider tries to woo Kubra Khan in telefilm Raja Ki Chandni
If you enjoy watching comedy on Eid, then you're in for a treat.
Mohsin Abbas Haider and Kubra Khan have paired up for HUM TV's latest telefilm Raja Ki Chandni and things are about to get W.I.L.D. Be prepared, there's a lottery ticket, a lover and a lucky chicken involved.
Images reached out to Mohsin to ask about the upcoming project. Sadly, he chose to keep the details to a minimum, but here's what we know about the comedy:
The telefilm is being directed by Kamran Akbar Khan and will also feature Behroze Sabzwari who plays Mohsin's father in the project.
"It's a fun telefilm. It's about a family that falls under the influence of a baba jee who tells them they'll win a prize bond," he explained. "The story is about a prize bond and how Raja (Mohsin's character) uses it to try and win the heart of a woman he loves with the help of his friends." But things take a wrong turn when his friends start fighting over her.
"The chicken acted really well," said Mohsin and cracked up.
The actor said that he "liked the telefilm so much that I felt it could've been made into a film." But he doesn't mind doing a telefilm for the first time.
He added, "It's a very good story. there are a lot of layers which keep getting fun as they unfold. The audience will enjoy it, I hope."
Does Raja win the lottery and get the love of his life? You'll have to wait and find out tomorrow. Raja Ki Chandni airs on HUM TV on the first day of Eid.
