Mehreen Jabbar ropes in Bilal Abbas for her new web series

Director Mehreen Jabbar is now trying her hand at web series.

Her upcoming project, which is titled Aik Jhooti Love Story, is still in pre-production phase. And though the cast and crew is staying hush-hush about the affair, Bilal Abbas Khan dished a few details about the series.

"It is a web series that has been penned by Umera Ahmed and directed by Mehreen Jabbar," says the actor.

Speaking of his role, he said, "Without getting into details at this stage, I'm playing a regular young Karachi boy."

He didn't reveal the story nor do we know when the web series will launch, but Bilal enjoyed working on a different medium.

"It was fun and gave me another chance to explore myself as an actor."

The cast includes Madiha Imam, Mohammad Ahmed, Beo Zafar, Furqan Siddiqui, Mariam Saleem and Kiran Haq.
