The trailer of Durj tells the story of a Pakistani cannibal

It starts off with a missing person and ends with digging up a fresh grave... to unearth meat to eat.

While the trailer of Durj gives us only feverish glimpses of what will occur in the film, there's a strong suggestion that the Shamoon Abbasi directorial is about a cannibal on the loose! Played by Shamoon himself, the cannibal appears to be evading the eye of the intelligence and living in the desert with a fairly new love interest (Sherry Shah).

Interestingly, the film is said to be based on true events!

Durj has been directed and written by Shamoon Abbasi. It also stars Maira Khan and Nauman Javaid in key roles. From the trailer, we can say that the film is ominous, highly unsettling and most definitely not for the fainthearted.

Its release date is yet to be announced.
