Trailer of Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is dark, gritty and captivating
Netflix has kicked it up a notch or two with its trailer of Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle.
Mowgli (played by Rohan Chand) plays his part to the T and looks it too! The trailer shows the best of both worlds as Mowgli is torn between the human world and the jungle. Having to choose between his animal family that raised him and a life which he was born into causes him distress.
To top it off, Mowgli is left to pick sides as humans try to take over the jungle.
Mowgli has been directed by The Lord of the Rings actor Andy Serkis and features a star studded cast; Christian Bale as Bagheera the Panther, Cate Blanchett as Kaa the Python, Naomie Harris as Nisha the Wolf, Andy Serkis as Baloo the Bear and Benedict Cumberbatch as Shere Khan the Tiger.
Netflix announced that the film will release in limited theaters on November 29 before hitting the streaming platform on December 7.
