Strings' new track 'Hum Dono' will grow on you
Strings is making good on its promise to keep fans entertained with lots of music videos in 2018!
The duo released the fifth single from their 30-year anniversary album (also titled 30) and this time, it's a love ballad titled 'Hum Dono'.
The band's guitarist/lyricist Bilal Maqsood said in a live Facebook video that they pushed their boundaries with this song with unconventional choices like the lack of a chorus and suggests that fans should give it a few listens before making their mind up about the song. Listen to it here:
While the track is short and simple, comprising only three verses, it speaks of universal themes like longing that many will find relatable.
The video, directed by Soheb Akhtar, has been shot near Mubarak Village and features models Sabeeka Imam and Hasnain Lehri. Natasha Noorani also lends her vocals to the track.
