Jackie Chan to star opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Aankhen sequel?

The 2002 thriller is getting a sequel and it may star Jackie Chan.

According to Mumbai Mirror, Aankhen's sequel has gotten Amitabh Bachchan onboard and is currently looking towards Jackie Chan to play the role of the Chinese casino owner.

"Amit ji liked the script and has given his nod to the project. Anees has begun prep and will start shooting in 2019. The team is targeting an early 2020 releaseAankhen,"a source close to the development told the publication.

Speaking of Chan's role, the source added, "And since the story revolves around a casino this time owned by a Chinese, the makers are considering Jackie Chan for the part."

The film which originally stars Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen, may see Sushant Singh Rajput or Vicky Kaushal play the lead role in the sequel.
