Mahira says she "just knew" Shoaib Mansoor wouldn't make his next film without her

Verna star Mahira Khan was showing signs of her characteristic nervousness at the upcoming film's trailer launch yesterday. (Watch the trailer here.)

Speaking to the press before the trailer release, she admitted, "I haven't seen the trailer yet; I only saw few bits a day ago. I'm very scared as usual."

But there's one thing she was confident about.

When asked about what it felt like to be cast in her second Shoaib Mansoor movie after Bol, she said, "I knew that he would call me. I don't know why, but I just knew that when Shoaib Mansoor makes another film, he'll call me. He was always fond of me."

She added, "He sends emails, by the way, he doesn't call. So he emailed, saying, 'I've given you your life's first acting role, now I'll give you the best role of your life.'"

Is anyone surprised that Mahira accepted the offer? We'll see if the wait has been worth it when Verna releases on November 17!
