End of a legend: Fans pay tribute to Bangladeshi music director Robin Ghosh

Bangladeshi music director Robin Ghosh passed away in Dhaka today due to respiratory failure. He was 79.

Ghosh was married to to Pakistani veteran actress Shabnam, with whom he had one son Ronnie.

He has composed the soundtracks of numerous Pakistani films, including the iconic Aaina. He has received multiple Nigar Awards for Talaash (1963), Chakori (1967), Chahat (1974), Aaena (1977), Amber (1978) and Dooriyan (1984).

Ghosh was admitted to a hospital in Dhaka after he fell sick three days ago. He had suffered a stroke late last year.
