Deepika trains hard for huntress role in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage

For her Hollywood debut in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, Deepika Padukone is hard at work.

In the film, Deepika will play a a razor-sharp huntress named Serena who helps Cage during his latest mission, reports Variety.

It's no surprise that she's been hitting the gym; her fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala shared a snippet of her routine yesterday:

Meanwhile, her co-star Vin Diesel has already started practising his stunts for "an insane" chase sequence in the film:

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage has started filming and Deepika is expected to film her parts February onwards, reports NDTV.

Directed by D J Caruso, the movie is the third instalment in the xXx franchise of films.
