Underworld will not be cut off from Sanjay Dutt's biopic, says Rajkumar Hirani
"Everything will be part of the film. We are not cutting it," said Hirani about Dutt's involvement with the underworld
Sanjay Dutt will get release from jail two days earlier, from what was earlier announced.
According to his PR rep, Dutt's release date has been set to February 25, "contrary to media reports stating various dates of his release."
Initially, it was reported that Dutt will be released in March, after which his release date was amended to February 27, 2016.
Dutt has been serving a five-year sentence for his involvement in the 1993 Mumbai blasts that killed 257 people and injured hundreds. He has been serving the latter part of his sentence at Yerwada Jail in Pune.
The PR rep further said that Dutt has served more than 50 months out of his 60-month sentence and that a regular remission has been granted to him "on account of good conduct.”
