'You have to be exclusive when you're in the movies': Danish Taimoor on his film career

Has TV lost one of its stars to the razzle dazzle of the silver screen?

Danish Taimoor now considers himself an out and out film star, and doesn't think he'll return to TV anytime soon.

"I haven't decided [about TV]. It's been two years since my last drama, and I'm still waiting for a good script. I’m into films now, so I’m more focused on them," he said to Images.

Claiming that he's currently the highest paid film actor, he added, "If I get a good script, I'll do it. When you're in the movies, you have to be very exclusive, so I'm trying to be exclusive."

After two films in 2013 – the blockbuster Wrong Number and Jalaibee – he is now set to appear in Sangeeta Rizvi's romance film Tum Hi Tou Ho that stars Danish and newcomer Quratulain as college students in love.

"Working with Sangeeta has been a learning experience. I always wanted to work with a hardcore film director and I’m enjoying it," he said.

While he refrained from disclosing anything about future projects, he did hint at signing another film this year.
