Here's why Swarovski's 120th anniversary was a blinged out affair

Swarovski spared no expense when it came to celebrating their 120th anniversary.

The Austrian fashion design crystal brand hosted the first ever Sparkling Couture exhibition yesterday to celebrating the brand’s long-standing relationship with couture designers.

Couturiers from all over the Middle East and South Asia, from Pakistan and India to Saudi Arabia and UAE exhibited custom-made pieces made using Swarovski crystals at the first ever exhibition of it's kind.

On the roster were also a handful of our favourite Pakistani designers like Faraz Manan, Khadija Shah of Elan, Tena Durrani, Fahad Hussayn and Maria B.

Khadijah Shah attended the event in a monochrome outfit, paired with adorable crimson accessories. We love her Les Petits Joueurs Andy Piano clutch.

Elan exhibited a bejeweled grey piece adorned with Swarovski crystals, duh.

However, that wasn't our favourite Elan outfit of the night. What Sahar Zafar wore was.

Fahad Hussayn showcased this intricate piece.

Manan showcased a gorgeous gold ensemble with a risque cut-out neckline. It was an apt testament to the kind of work the designer is known for -- marrying Western cuts with Eastern embellishments.

Maria B and Saira Shakira also showcased installations.

Pakistani designers weren't the only ones slaying the game.

It's all about those details.

Some dresses are just what fairytales are made of.

The red carpet was just as happening.

Tena Durrani's shoes were on fleek. We wonder if those Valentinos have also been blinged out with Swarovski crystals.

Speaking of kicks...

How can we forget about accessories?

This is as good as bespoke couture gets.
