Adnan Siddiqui shared a touching note about doing what his wife does every day. “We throw around phrases like ‘mothers are God’ so easily, as if elevating them to the divine somehow lets us off the hook. But here’s what I have come to understand: she is not a goddess who doesn’t feel fatigue. She is a human being who chooses, every single morning, to show up anyway. She feels tired, she feels unseen. Yet she keeps going, not because it is her duty but because that love runs deeper than anything duty could ever demand,” he wrote.
