‘Jhol’ singer Annural Khalid ties the knot
Annural Khalid, one of Gen-Z’s favourite singing sensations and the voice behind the 2024 love song ‘Jhol’ that continues to soar two years on, is officially taken.
That’s right, this is not a drill, the singer announced she had tied the knot with an Instagram story showing the newlyweds’ ring adorned hands with the caption “mr & mrs”.
The picture was in black and white, but we couldn’t help but appreciate the intricate mehendi on the bride’s hands and her manicure, which appeared to be a glittery embellished French manicure of sorts — exactly what a Gen-Z bride needs to complete her look.
She shared pictures from the event on Instagram.
As did her manager, who gave us a glimpse into a little more of the action. She posted a monochrome shot of the veiled bride covered in a net dupatta.
Just when we thought we’d seen everything, we were presented with the pièce de résistance. A full colour shot of Khalid in her sparkly peach Nimrah Khokhar outfit with a teal-grey border.
The look was completed with gold jewellery: an ensemble of heavy-set earrings, a necklace and a teeka. The bride wore gold bangles on one hand and gajray on the other.
Content creator Rimha Ahmed, who was at the wedding, posted a video of the couple embracing each other after their nikah.
