Meet Sheroz, the viral finger artist turning car windows into mobile masterpieces
Some people say art can’t be rushed, others say it’s built to last. None of them have met Sheroz, a prodigy from Gujranwala, whose lightning-fast art has made him an internet sensation.
Sheroz, an attendant at a petrol pump in Punjab, has made waves on social media by drawing cartoons and anime characters on the windows of cars he’s tasked with refuelling. Using just his fingers and the dust that accumulates on cars, he’s able to create sketches in under a minute.
Seemingly a fan of Japanese anime, a lot of the videos on the artist’s TikTok account show him drawing recognisable characters from the widely popular series Dragon Ball Z. The account itself has gained almost 94,000 followers and five million likes since he started posting on it in January.
Sheroz’s videos have also been reposted to X, where one such repost gathered over nine million views and rave reviews of his work. Users in the comment section marvelled at how effortlessly he was able to draw and said petrol attendants were “secretly superheroes”.
Some people wanted him to get admission in an art school.
Others were in awe of his work.
Sheroz proves art is everywhere; you just have to make it. His work smashes the notion that you need training and specialised tools to make something impressive — all you really need to do is have an idea and get your hands a little dirty.
