Wedding season is in full swing in Pakistan and our favourite celebrities are setting major style goals with their stunning outfits. From simple saris to elaborate ghagras, the fashion we’ve spotted has been nothing short of spectacular.

To help you channel the same glam vibes, we compiled a list of five of the best celebrity looks this wedding season. Whether you’re looking for inspiration for your next wedding outfit or just want to admire the fashion, these outfits will leave you in awe.

Hania Aamir

Pakistan’s current it girl Hania Aamir was elegant and chic in this understated yet stunning white sari by Fashion Diva. Delicate chickenkari adorned the fabric and was more elaborate around the golden border.

Mahira Khan

The sari aesthetic was popular this year, with Mahira Khan wearing this Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna outfit, bedazzled with silver stones and off-white tassels. Forever iconic. Just be sure to pack a shawl if you’re going to an outdoor wedding.

Mawra Hocane

Mawra Hocane was living her best this wedding season, serving look after look and this one was our favourite. She traded in the trendy minimalism vibe and went for bright, bold colours with this Sania Maskatiya ghagra pants and shirt. Definitely a fun look for a mehndi.

Saboor Aly

Saboor Aly is always impeccably dressed and her deep red, long kurta and pants from Agha Noor were no exception. The minimal work along the neckline, sleeves and corners of the shirt was stunning, and the work on the hem of her pants was the perfect touch. The ensemble was completed with a matching dupatta with sequins of varying sizes splattered across it.

Mansha Pasha

Mansha Pasha was serving some serious looks in this stunning monochromatic outfit by Faiza Saqlain. The brown peshwas was completely plain, save for a few buttons down the bodice and a thick, pink, green and golden floral border along the hem. The border matched perfectly with her brown velvet shawl which featured heavier embroidery and sequin-work. Slay.

What has been your favourite wedding look so far?

There is something very very feminine about desi/Indo-Pak/South Asian women's wear. Mansha Pasha's outfit is my favorite, hands down. Very classic and elegant.

Our women’s look very beautiful when they have light makeup on their face and ready to go to any party or work. Please try to stay away from beauty parlor as much as possible and focus on light makeup at home.

@Noorjahan, Sarees are every bit as Pakistani as shalwar kameez. We inherited it all from the subcontinental culture. In villages many women wear lungis. In the cities we will frown at them. Pakistani is not a homogenous identity and "Pakistani Islamic identity" is open to interpretation. Pakistani is a nationality and Islam a religion. People practise in different ways. You will find Pakistan is home to other religions too. Our minority Christians and Hindus always wear shalwar kameez. We should stop telling adult women what to wear or not wear. Just like we don't tell males to stop wearing pant, shirt jeans, even though male shalwar kameez exist. Also understand that ALL cultures change and adapt over time. Otherwise they can't survive. Denial hereof won't stop the changes. Fun fact: the Muslim Ms Fatima Jinnah, the sister of our founder, also wore saree.

@Mukali Khan Not sure what you mean by "headgear"? Topi? Dupatta? Chador? If you live in Pakistan, then I welcome you to step outside and see how average people dress. If you live abroad, then you can find many recent travel videos showing how people dress/live in Pakistan. Last I checked we were not under Taliban rule. So there is not one uniform dress. I cover from has to toe including niqab even though not all females in our mohalla do that. I live in a major city in Punjab.
