Eid glamour in ivory: celebrities dazzle in head-to-toe white ensembles!
One of the best things about Eid is the outfits our favourite celebrities wear. This year, the timeless allure of white took centre stage in the world of Eid fashion. Celebrities embraced the elegance of white ensembles and showcased their impeccable style.
Make no mistake: donning white wasn’t merely a conventional choice for these people, instead, it was a statement of sophistication and versatility. In a season brimming with vibrant hues and bold prints, white emerged as the ultimate victor, offering endless possibilities for chic looks.
Let’s explore how people adorned their white attires with exquisite accessories, proving that white is far from mundane — it’s the epitome of contemporary elegance.
Maya Ali
Actor Maya Ali wore a gorgeous Anarkali-style frock, embroidered with gold and rose gold thread. Her outfit exuded a captivating essence of cultural flair, which was further accentuated by her jhumkay. The pink stones in the earrings also added an elegant pop of colour.
Sajal Aly
Actor Sajal Aly kept it simple and elegant this Eid, with a long white frock adorned with hints of gold on the bodice. We absolutely love the white pearls on the ends of her sleeve which elevate the whole outfit. Her look was completed with some natural makeup, loose waves in her hair and minimal jewellery.
Shadab Khan
Cricketer Shadab Khan went above and beyond the plain, basic white shalwar kameez, yet kept it classy! The placket and cuffs of the kurta were embellished with delicate mirror work and fine white thread embroidery. He finished the look with an open, sleeveless waistcoat of the same colour.
Saba Qamar Zaman
Actor Saba Qamar Zaman was the epitome of grace in a long white kameez and a churidar shalwar. Her look was minimal in the best way possible — the top had beige paisleys scattered across it, while her jewellery was super simple. The look was completed with pinky-nude makeup as well as an organza dupatta that added dimension and movement to the outfit. We love that she paired this dress with sparkly silver shoes which gave major Eid vibes.
Durefishan Saleem
Actor Durefishan Saleem was ready for Eid in an Anarkali-style frock, complete with golden sequin work. She paired the outfit with white and gold khussa shoes and a gold-embellished dupatta. We absolutely adore her accessories, which include chunky gold bangles, jhumkay with emerald green stones for a pop of colour, and flowers — for the perfect picture, of course! For her makeup, she opted for the classic smokey brown eye and a pink-nude lip. Gorgeous!
Babar Azam
Captain of the Pakistan cricket team Babar Azam (aka King Bobby), was dapper in a white kurta and straight pants. At first glance, his look seems a little understated but we soon discovered that it actually exudes effortless chicness. The cream-coloured kurta is embroidered with thread of the same shade and it is adorned with a long row of cloth buttons, also of the same colour. He finished his look with black sandals, a watch and black sunglasses. Azam isn’t just a cricket icon, we think he’s becoming a fashion icon too!
Sanam Jung
Actor Sanam Jung stunned in a white kurta and pants, decorated with white embroidery. The neckline, edges of the shirt and dupatta were more heavily adorned than the centre of her kurta, balancing the whole look. Her makeup was glowy and pink, however, what we loved the most was her choice of silver jewellery and shoes instead of gold. This year, we saw a lot of gold and white — which is fair, it’s a classic combination — but Jung just proved that your accessories can pop, even if they’re not golden.
Humayun Saeed and Imran Ashraf Awan
In an Instagram post shared by Imran Ashraf Awan, both him and Humayun Saeed were dressed in white. Saeed kept it minimal with a white kurta embellished with minimal, thin embroidery, a shalwar and black Peshawari sandals. On the other hand, Awan added some colour with a blue waistcoat and red pocket square.
Nazish Jahangir
We absolutely love actor Nazish Jahangir’s Eid outfit! The whole look is very soft and romantic — loose curls, long, sleeveless white and silver frock, and silver accessories. Just like Jung, Jahangir proved how stunning silver and white look together. Her accessories are far from basic, which level up the outfit — the bangles have dangly embellishments and we can almost hear the jingle of the large jhumkay. Simply stunning.
Momal Sheikh
Actor Momal Sheikh kept it simple and elegant, with a short, sleeveless white kurta and flowy voluminous flared pants. The neck and hemline are decorated with vibrant floral embroidery, adding a gorgeous burst of colour. The look is completed with white nail colour to match the outfit and chunky golden bangles.
There you have it! A deluge of white, and everyone looked elegant in it. We can all pick up a tip or two from these celebrities for the next time we want to jazz up a white fit. Perhaps some colourful jhumkay like Maya Ali and Durefishan Saleem? Or minimal jewellery and natural makeup like Sajal Aly? Either way, this year’s Eid fashion was a 10/10.
