Sunita Marshall asks people not to harass YouTuber Nadir Ali following interview
Actor Sunita Marshall has requested her fans to not harass YouTuber Nadir Ali following backlash he has been receiving after interviewing her. During the interview, he discussed the possibility of the former model converting to Islam.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Marshall expressed her gratitude to the people who supported her but asked them to refrain from harassing the interviewer. She also urged the interviewing community to avoid asking such personal questions in the future.
During the recent podcast, Marshall was asked why she had not converted to Islam despite her husband being Muslim. “There is no pressure on me for converting to Islam from Hassan [her husband] or his family. However, people sometimes comment on Instagram, but it doesn’t matter to me,” she had replied.
Following the YouTuber’s line of questioning, people, including fellow celebrities, had been criticising his behaviour and insensitive conduct during the interview.
