Sukkur may house the strongest BTS ARMY in the country, according to Spotify Pakistan’s region-based insights

If you’ve ever wondered where in Pakistan reside the most die hard BTS fans, we may have an answer for you. According to Spotify Pakistan’s region-based breakdown of where the audience’s interest lies, there are three BTS songs featured in Sukkur’s top five streamed songs; ‘Yet To Come’, ‘Dreamers’ and ‘Dynamite’. RM’s ‘Wildflower’ has also made the list.

According to Spotify’s insights, Ali Sethi and Shae Gill’s ‘Pasoori’, AP Dhillon’s ‘Excuses’, King’s ‘Tu Aake Dekhle’ and Abdul Hannan’s ‘Bikhra’ and ‘Iraaday’ are the top songs in major cities of Pakistan, including Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Hyderabad, Multan, Peshawar, Faisalabad and Gujranwala.

With all provinces unanimous in their love for Atif Aslam, he is the most streamed local artist in Pakistan. Other top local streamed artists include the Young Stunners, Asim Azhar, Abdul Hannan, Hasan Raheem and Nusrat and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Pakistanis also streamed artists from across the border — AP Dhillon, Arijit Singh, Sidhu Moose Wala, Pritam and Gurinder Gill are on the provincial lists. K-pop band BTS is among Sindh and Balochistan’s top streamed artists.

According to Spotify, Saturday is the top day of the week for Pakistanis listening to music and 10pm is the top hour of the day. There has been a 90 per cent increase in the top local playlist Pakka Hit Hai in the last six months and there has been a 338 per cent increase in the top general playlist called Hot Hits Pakistan in the last two years.
