Rihanna fans disappointed with Johnny Depp’s inclusion in her upcoming Savage X Fenty show

They feel that the Barbadian singer has questionable taste, considering Depp's high profile defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard.

Rihanna has chosen a male celebrity for a featured star moment at her upcoming Savage X Fenty Vol. 4 show and it is none other than Johnny Depp. While Depp fans and supporters are thrilled with the news, Rihanna fans are not so happy, calling it a questionable choice especially considering Depp’s trial against ex-wife Amber Heard earlier this year.

Releasing on November 9 on Prime Video, the show includes more celeb moments than just the Pirates of the Caribbean actor’s brief cameo. According to Variety, Rihanna herself, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever actor Winston Duke, Abbott Elementary Emmy winner Sheryl Lee Ralph, Marvel’s Shang-Chi star Simu Liu, Empire star Taraji P Henson, Irina Shayk, Marsai Martin and performances by Burna Boy and Anitta are all part of Vol. 4.

The news has sparked a controversy because though the Depp versus Heard trial was majorly ruled in Depp’s favour, netizens did not fully absolve him of domestic abuse claims. They took to Twitter to point out that Rihanna is making a very questionable choice and it is not her first.

They do not see the need for Depp at a lingerie show when there are so many other unproblematic men around.

Netizens definitely don’t want him to model.

They’ve already termed the show a “flop” because of Depp’s appearance.

Though Depp refused to return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, he has immersed himself in multiple projects after the trial. He appeared at the MTV Video Music Awards as a Moon Person, a brought-to-life version of the VMAs trophy. He also joined musician Jeff Beck for a handful of live concerts, and the two released a joint album titled 18. Along with acting in historical romance drama Jeanne du Barry, he is also set to direct a biopic on Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani.

What Morality? People think that they are the court and what they think is right. No its not. Court has cleared him and you should consider that a truth instead of your own biased judgements.

People need to get out of their biased judgements. He has been proven innocent. Either go to court and prove the court wrong or accept the verdict. Remember you are accusing him of something which he hasnt done and proved it.

Johnny Depp was the victim and Amber Heard was the abuser. I totally support his inclusion.

Anyone who has actually seen the trial would have all doubts removed about who was the abuser in that relationship and who wasn't. Turns out women aren't always the victims, in the Depp-Heard case the abuser was Amber Heard. He was found innocent both legally by a jury of his peers and in the court of public opinion who watched the trial. These twitter commentators are irrelevant.

Is Rihanna from Pakistan? She looks like Sheedi from Karachi's Machar colony.
