Fashion powerhouses Sania Maskatiya, Sana Safinaz, HSY band together for flood relief sale at Karachi’s Ensemble
As one-third of Pakistan suffers the aftereffects of devastating floods, the other two-thirds are banding together to help their fellow Pakistanis. One such initiative has popped up in the form of a sale of designer clothes in Karachi. All of the proceeds of the sale will be donated to flood relief efforts.
Designer HSY announced the “flood relief sale” on Friday through a poster shared on his Instagram story. The sale will take place at Ensemble in Karachi on September 10 from 11am to 9pm. Customers will get to browse through new collections from big name designers and pre-loved items at bargain prices.
Consisting of mostly Karachi-based brands, a list of sellers was also included in the announcement. HSY, Sana Safinaz, Sania Maskatiya, Nida Azwer, Feeha Jamshed, Deepak Perwani, Maheen Karim, Momina Teli, Threads & Motifs, Ammara Khan, Maryiyam D Rizwan, Umaima Mustafa, Daaman, Sehrish Rehan, Nada Tai, Boheme by Kanwal and Ayesha Sarfraz Design Studio were on the list of participating fashion labels. Jewellery brands Ali Javeri Jewellers and Esfir are also participating, as are Lals Chocolate, Noho, Organix Skin Lab, Bombay Light House, Meem Aliph, Primary Skincare and many others.
All of the proceeds from the sale will contribute to flood relief efforts. The sale is being organised in partnership with the Karachi Relief Trust and Haji Moula Bukhsh Trust, both of which were mentioned on the poster.
