The iPhone 14 is here — who’s ready to sell a kidney?

The iPhone 14 is here — who’s ready to sell a kidney?

Twitter is marking the Apple Event with a launch of its own — a meme launch.
Updated 08 Sep, 2022

It’s that time of year again — a new iPhone is ready to grace the Earth. Almost entirely identical to its predecessor, save for some updates, this metal block is one of the most sought after items in the market and Twitter is already sharpening its meme-making skills in anticipation.

Despite added features such as satellite messaging and a dynamic island, Apple has decided to keep the price the same as the iPhone 13. Though that saves the buyer a few organs, it is still a higher price for Pakistanis when converted to PKR due to the depreciation in our currency.

No worries though, for a nation that takes everything with a side of humour, even situations like these become acceptable.

They know what’s up.

Yet the urge to upgrade is pretty strong. We can survive with a single kidney, right?

Pakistanis have a jugar [improvised solution] for everything.

We are natural solution-seekers.

It’s called window shopping.

They quake, sensing the might of the chosen one.

Where’s that iPhone abu [father]? Naseem Shah and 10 others are waiting for an answer.

Our bank account looking at us like:

Oh this? That’s just our smacking jawline.

Are you willing to sell an organ for an iPhone upgrade?

iPhone is for the showoffs. Just buy one good Android phone with regular security updates and it does everything for you.

iPhone introduces a new mobile set in the month of September-October every year. There are number of iPhone lovers who purchase iPhones as soon as it is introduce even if they have to stand in the queue. But there are people who are cautious and wait for report to come from people who purchase new iPhones set about its working and if buyers of new iPhone are satisfied with its usage. There is another group of people who purchase but one last model of iPhones that has a say in the market. Though iPhone is introduced in the market by an American company but its part and assembly is done in China. As fae as usage of iPhones are concerned in Pakistan there are less people who want to go for brand new model of iPhone during to fear that they might lose the iPhone due to mugging incidents. One more aspect is that as soon as a new iPhone is introduced in the market, the prices of last iPhone model goes down drastically. I wish if iPhone company open its flagship store in Pakistan.

These phones can possibly fly small unmanned aircrafts - definitely control a couple of self driving vehicles. For us they are an expensive housing for a 1500Rs. communication device which happens to takes photos and forward unnecessary chain messages. But that is where you have to bow down to the all American salesmenship - they have sold grass to lions, ice to Eskimos, and tonnes of sand to the inhabitants of Sahara... Kudos!

The phone lacks too many features for real power users, even most people don't know apple used B grade panels in iphone 13 and to date using 20 years old usb 2.0 speed lightening connector. I can list the flaws but can surely say this phone is meant for status symbol rather than for productivity.
