There’s nothing a fandom can’t accomplish once they set their hearts on it and singer Asim Azhar’s fans were intent on making the artist blow up on Twitter, just in time to mark his anniversary of nine years in the music industry.

The musician has had quite a journey, almost an entire decade of serenading the public, increasing his small army of Asimates. From hits like ‘Ghalat Fehmi’ and ‘Jo Tu Na Mila’ to the more recent ‘Habibi’ and ‘Kabhi Mai Kabhi Tum’, his fans eagerly await his music. They took to Twitter to express their appreciation in the form of throwback photos, inspirational quotes and mash-up videos.

Congratulating the “king” on this milestone, they believe his success will last many more years.

They thanked him for his music and for representing Pakistan abroad.

When you’re a man trending on a popular networking app, you catch drift of things. Azhar responded to his fans, sending his love.

Finally, hours of tweeting actualised their goal.

Apparently it’s a yearly tradition to make the artist trend on his music industry anniversary.

He has come a long way.

Asimates feel privileged to exist in the ‘YAAD’ singer’s era.

The man is out here saving lives, straight up.

Congratulations to the singer on nine years!

From the likes of JJ, Junoon, Sajjad Ali etc to this mediocre guy being one of the lead singers of Pakistan........the journey is painful.
