Uzair Jaswal had promised each of his tracks from his latest album Lovestruck will feature a music video and the first one, for 'Tere Jiya Koi Nahi', starring actor Syra Yousuf is out now.
On Sunday, after several posts hyping fans up, the singer finally dropped the video directed by his brother Yasir Jaswal. It zooms in on Uzair and Yousuf enjoying each other's company as the world disappears — quite literally — and the main line tere jiya koi nahi [there's no one else like you] echoes in the background, materialising through the visuals.
The video features the duo vibing to the song at several locations, including a restaurant, on a bike outside a movie theatre and on a rooftop overlooking the sunset.
The 'Tere Bin' singer re-shared shoutouts from his brother Umair Jaswal and friends Usman Mukhtar and Ahmed Ali Akbar who prompted their followers to check out the track on their Instagram stories.
The song was hyped up by several posts by Uzair and the Sinf-e-Aahan actor. They shared a joint post on Instagram to keep their fans on their toes for Sunday.
Some BTS photos also made the cut for the 'gram.
Lovestruck is the 'Hamesha' singer's second album and he released it after a lengthy hiatus of nearly five years, his first album being Na Bhulana, released in 2017. His musical comeback features nine tracks and, according to him, encapsulates the journey of love in a holistic way.
Have you heard the song yet?
