Many actors are making a shift from movie theatres to OTT platforms and the most recent Indian star to hop on the bandwagon is YouTuber and content creator Bhuvan Bam, known as BB Ki Vines on YouTube and Instagram. The social media star is set to make his OTT debut in Disney Plus' Taaza Khabar.

The content creator took to social media on Wednesday to share the big news with his followers. Bam posed with a script in hand, hinting at his debut for the OTT giant in India. He wrote, "Need your wishes for my OTT debut. Your constant support’s been a boon for me. New stuff this year!" with hashtags Hotstar Specials and the title of his upcoming project.

According to The Indian Express, Taaza Khabar will be made under Bam's production company BBKV. It is created by Abbas and Hussain Dalal, directed by Himank Gaur, produced by Rohit Raj and Bam himself.

Many celebrities and fellow content creators also congratulated Bam on his debut. It included Indian actor Anup Soni, producer Guneet Monga,

Several celebrities left congratulatory messages for Bhuvan in the comments section of the post. These included actors Anup Soni, Shreya Mehta, producer Guneet Monga, musician Zaman Khan and Nicole Concessao.

The 28-year-old comedian shot to fame with his Youtube channel BB Ki Vines that features several of his own created characters out of which the most famous ones include Titu Mama, Bablu, Sameer Fuddi, Janki, Adrak Baba, Mrs. Verma and Detective Mangloo. His content not only focuses on comedy skits but mimicry as well of Bollywood's big moments, including award shows, hit films and celebrity weddings.

The social media star has a total of 25.4 million subscribers on YouTube and 14.3 million on Instagram.
