Indian cricketer KL Rahul and actor Athiya Shetty to tie the knot soon

Indian media reported that the couple will be having a South Indian winter wedding.

As one Bollywood wedding is done and dusted, another has made it to Indian media's radar and that's cricketer KL Rahul and actor Athiya Shetty's.

On Tuesday, Pinkvilla shared that sources have confirmed Rahul and Shetty are ready to tie the knot by the end of this year. 2022 seems to be the year of big fat Bollywood weddings after Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar and Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding festivities.

According to the site, a source close to the Shettys revealed that the preparations for their big day have already begun. The source also said that the couple's parents are very fond of Rahul and Athiya and if all the preparations go well, then the cricketer and the actor will be married by the end of this year.

Athiya is the daughter of a Bollywood star Suneil Shetty. She has been in films Motichoor Chaknachoor, Nawabzaade and Mubarakan. Since her father was born in a Tulu-speaking family in Mangalore, Karnataka, Indian media is sure that the wedding festivities are going to be South Indian. Suneil's to-be son-in-law is also South Indian.

Pinkvilla reported that the family has chosen to remain mum about the wedding festivities.

The Indian skipper, 30, and Shetty, 29, have been dating for past three years. Both Rahul and Athiya have been very vocal about their relationship be it through their tropical photos on Instagram or public appearances in India. Their lovey dovey photos say it all.

In Pakistan, she would get roles of a maasi or a hospital nurse and her hubby the role of karayana store merchant in Kharadar!

Shaheen afridi will have to save his energy for years and not jump into marriage boat. None of the married bowlers came back to their prime once they started wasting their energy on recreational stuff post marriage.
