Ye and Julia Fox are a couple no more.

American actor and model Fox, 32, split with rapper Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) after a romantic affair that lasted six weeks. According to PEOPLE magazine, the two met each other in Miami on New Year's Eve and had made their debut as a couple at Paris Men's Fashion Week on January 23.

Fox's representative told PEOPLE that "Julia and Kanye remain good friends and collaborators but they are no longer together." In a social media statement that has since been deleted, Fox wrote how "y'all would love if I was soooo upset! The media would love to paint a picture of me a sad lonely woman crying on a plane by myself but it's NOT TRUE! Why not see me for what I am which is a #1 hustler. I came up ya'll lol and not only that but Kanye and I are on good terms! I have love for him but I wasn't in love with the man. Jesus Christ what do you guys think I am, 12 years old?!"

The actor denied reports of crying post breakup with Ye. "For the record the only time I cried in 2022 was on Feb 6th on my dead BFF's birthday," she added. She also posted an Instagram Story to really drive the point home.

Fresh after the breakup, Fox opened LaQuan Smith’s New York Fashion Week show in black as the designer honoured his beloved late mentor, Andre Leon Talley, with a moment of silence Monday night inside a century-old private club.

The breakup came as Ye ranted on social media about his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, and her new beau Pete Davidson. On Valentine’s Day, he posted a photo of a truckload of red roses he had delivered to the Hidden Hills, California, mansion where Kardashian lives with their four children. It’s a home they once shared.

Ye started dating Fox after his separation from the reality TV superstar. They were married for 6.5 years and have four children together. The estranged couple got into a very public heated exchange recently after Ye expressed extreme dissatisfaction with their oldest daughter North being on TikTok.
