Mani will soon be seen on cinema screens in horror-comedy film Lafangey
Lafangey is coming our way in 2022 and the film looks to be an entertaining one!
Starring Mani, Sami Khan, Nazish Jahangir, Saleem Meraj, Mubeen Gabol and Behroze Sabzwari. The upcoming film belongs to the horror-comedy genre, a combination you don't see a lot in Pakistan.
Mani took to Instagram to share the poster of the movie with his followers.
In a comment to Images, the actor divulged some interesting details about his upcoming project. "The film has been directed and produced by Abdull Khaaliq Khan," he said. "Khan has written the film as well. The cast includes Nazish Jahangir who is playing a ghost in the film. The movie has many talented actors actually.
"It is a horror-comedy movie. The story is funny and we had a lot of fun making it. I think we wrapped shooting up in 25 to 26 days," he shared when highlighting what the plot is about.
"The movie has been made within its budget. Many movies that are being made these days all go past their budget and yet get zero returns. When it comes to this movie, we made it with a lot of consideration and due diligence and is complete with masala shashka entertainment."
According to Mani, the film will most likely be released this coming Eid.
