Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor reveals she beat Covid-19
Looks like Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor wasn't spared by the coronavirus either. The actor shared news of her contracting Covid-19 on social media today. Thankfully, the actor has now tested negative for the virus after undergoing quarantine.
The Roohi actor took to Instagram to share the news of testing positive for Covid-19 alongside her sister Khushi Kapoor. "Hey guys! So me and my sister tested positive for Covid-19 on January 3. We have now completed the BMC required days of home isolation and have both tested negative," she said.
"The first two days were tough, and then every other day got better. The only way to protect ourselves from this virus is to mask up and vaccinate," she reminded her followers.
For asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic patients in India, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation or BMC has mandated a quarantine period of seven days, according to the Hindustan Times.
While Janhvi may not have told fans about her severe illness, she did give them a glimpse into what she was up to during quarantine. Looks like painting, reading books and spending some quality time with her sister were all part of her daily regimen!
Janhvi is the daughter of late Bollywood star Sridevi. She made her debut in Bollywood with the movie Dhadak alongside Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khattar in 2018.
