Return of the wolfpack: Netflix’s You season 3 seems as murderous as it can get

It’s time for another round of endless ‘wolf yous’, stalking and a whole lot of suspense in season three of Netflix thriller You, which is releasing on October 15. With fans eagerly waiting for Joe Goldberg’s next ‘you’ they're reminded that his mission will always remain the same — a new woman and, of course, books — but this time he is not alone.

The series is based on Caroline Kepnes' novel You and Hidden Bodies and has been directed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble.

Judging by the clips that have been released, season three is surely going to be a bloodbath whether it’s the homicidal bibliophile Goldberg’s (Penn Badgley) new 'love interest' named Natalie (Michaela McManus) or the neighbourhood of Northern California called Madre Linda, a secretive and guarded town. A new addition to the show is baby Henry and we'll be seeing Goldberg and Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) take on new roles as parents.

Slashing throats is not the only job Quinn is good at — the baker will also be seen in a small café making cupcakes out of who knows what. Meanwhile Goldberg will be seen facing some challenges, the dubious community of Madre Linda and being under surveillance all the time.

In a snippet shared by the streaming site the neighbours can be seen asking the couple to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a new character is introduced and keeps keeps tabs on Quinn and Goldberg, as if we needed more suspense.

The newly married suburban parents (yes, we said married) will also be seen giving domestic life a shot, though it’s very unlikely that the two city people will settle down so easily.

Badgley, Pedretti will be seen along with new cast members Shalita Grant, Travis Van Winkle, Scott Speedman, Dylan Arnold and Tati Gabrielle. Saffron Burrows (Dottie Quinn) will also be returning for the third instalment as one of the lead actors. However, this left us wondering what happens to Ellie Alves (Jenna Ortega) and whether Goldberg really helping her out. Who knows?

Netflix recently renewed the fan-favourite show for season four way before the third season was even released. Either way, the season looks more promising than its previous instalments and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for us
