The winners of the 20th Lux Style Awards have been announced

Apart from 22 categories of awards in TV, music and fashion, three lifetime achievement awards were also announced.

After much fanfare and anticipation, the 20th edition of the Lux Style Awards is finally over and the winners have been announced.

There were 22 categories this year in music, fashion and TV. Due to the Covid pandemic, there were no submissions in the film category.

Three lifetime achievement awards were also presented at the show.

The Unilever Chairman’s Lifetime Achievement Award was dedicated to Farida Khanum, known as the Queen of Ghazal during her active years. The newly created LUX Change Makers Award was given posthumously to the late playwright Haseena Moin and the Lifetime Achievement Award in Fashion award was given to designer Bunto Kazmi.

And all are copycats ! No originality, appropriation for the culture and the society they live in, no imagination to represent the 99.9% of those who don't care to become so westernized! When most people in this society cannot even imagine going beyond Dubai or Doha, what's the point of these designers trying to surpass even the Western style shows??

What a joke! Really! Are there any winner's in this fake-fest of losers, who just award each other in rotation each year, just to make themselves feel good for a day!

Such shows do not represents culture of 99% in Pakistan, it is just a copy paste material of Indian shows.

Only Bilal abbas khan and yumna zaidi for pyar k sadqay deserve awards. I wonder why Danish taimoor is awarded as he does same acting in all dramas
