Many celebrities have reacted to a message posted by Noor Mukadam's sister on social media by sharing her post and reminding people that the fight for justice is not over.

Twenty-seven-year-old Mukadam was killed in an upscale neighbourhood in Islamabad in July. Zahir Jaffer is currently being investigated for her murder along with his parents Zakir Jaffer and Asmat Jaffer, who are being investigated for supporting Zahir and abetting him.

Noor's friends recently protested outside the Islamabad High Court when the court took up the post-arrest bail petitions of Zahir's parents. The protesters urged the court to not grant them bail.

Many stars have once again raised their voices to support the fight for justice for Noor after her sister Sara posted a message addressed to celebrities and public figures on social media. The message was posted on Justice for Noor, a social media platform run by Noor's friends in her memory.

"To our Pakistani celebrities, influencers, bloggers, journalists and all renowned personalities. It is time to give back to your country and your society," the message read.

"It is time to raise your voice and mobilise your followers for the greater good. We need your support now more than ever. Please raise your voice for Noor Mukadam now! We must stand together and fight for justice! This is a test case for our government and our judiciary but more importantly for all of us. Please act now."

Sara's message was shared by numerous celebrities online in an effort to raise their voices in support of Noor.

Author Fatima Bhutto shared Sara's message on her Instagram Stories, emphasising that Zahir's parents should not be granted bail.

Actor Ali Rehman Khan shared the message in support as well.

So did actor Ayesha Omar. She tagged a number of celebrities and public figures, urging them to spread the word.

Model Rehmat Ajmal shared the post.

Singer Meesha Shafi reshared model Eman Suleman's post that asked followers to help Noor's family and friends in their cause.

Parizaad actor Ahmed Ali Akbar shared Sara's message on his Instagram Story.

Actor Usman Mukhtar spread the word as well.

Former actor Naimal Khawar shared the post.

Anonymous internet sensation Swineryy also shared the post, urging people not to get desensitised and forget what happened.

Many celebrities have previously taken to social media in support of Noor as well, calling on the authorities to take action against her killer and the people who supported him.

Every human life matters, but it is very sad to see when a poor person is killed the society just forgets about it, now a rich person has died and there is this cry for justice. Noor must get justice but our society needs to wake up to injustice being faced by the poor as well.
