Scarlett Johansson is a mom to two now. The Black Widow star recently gave birth to a son, Cosmo, with husband Colin Jost, the Saturday Night Live star wrote on Instagram Wednesday. This is the first child for the couple, who were married last October.

“Ok, OK, we had a baby. His name is Cosmo. We love him very much,” was Jost’s brief note.

People magazine first reported the birth of the baby, which came as a shock to many since news of the pregnancy came out only days earlier after Jost reportedly mentioned it in a stand-up set in Connecticut. No other details were provided.

It’s the first child for Jost, 39, who is known for hosting “Weekend Update” on Saturday Night Live. Johansson, 36, also has a six-year-old daughter, Rose, from a previous marriage to Romain Dauriac.

Jost wrote on his Instagram page that privacy would be greatly appreciated and directed “all inquires” to “our publicist @chethinks,” tagging his “Weekend Update” co-host, Michael Che.

@Captain Safdar I and million others who are enlightened enough to watch international entertainment media on this planet care a lot and are happy for the couple. Check the coupleś instagram fb and twets. Do you live in another galaxy? On some lone planet?

@Chrís Dăn Mental slavery of another fake culture is enlightenment for you.....really.....have you ever read a sober book, thats the way to enlightment not some meaningless entertainers......You may not know; but in traditional societies Entertainers were of the lowest strata of society ; its only now when we live in a world of inverted values that they have become elites in the eyes of simple minded people.

@Chrís Dăn True - there is no harm in announcing the good someone has attained. Issues that need attention can be raised in the correct manner at the right place.

@Captain Safdar this tells us that now movie stars are realizing the importance of having their own kids like the not so famous people in olden days.
