Aagha Ali, Nimra Khan and Yashma Gill starrer Mujhe Khuda Pe Yaqeen Hai is topping Pakistan's rating charts as the serial bagged one of the highest Television Rating Points (TRPs) for the month of April.

In a conversation with Images, Ali explained how these ratings are calculated and spoke about how grateful he is to work with one of the most successful channels in the industry today.

"How TRPs work is that there's a source that calculates how many people watch dramas and then channels release information regarding the serials to let people know what exactly is doing better in terms of how many people have switched to the channel everyday," the Mere Bewafa star said.

"It's exactly how the box office works...how many TV sets on different cables were tuned in to the channel and what channel exactly," he said, adding that this is exactly how Humsafar and Meray Paas Tum Ho were deemed great hits, by calculating how many people were eagerly tuning in to watch the episodes.

According to data released by Geo, on April 10 Mujhe Khuda Pe Yaqeen Hai, Qayamat and Kasa-e-Dil bagged 136 24-hour GRPs compared to 102 for ARY Digital and 43 for Hum TV.

Ali excitedly revealed that the Saleem Ghanchi directorial project is doing equally well on YouTube.

"I feel extremely happy to be part of 7th Sky Entertainment," he said, adding that the channel really knows how to get the best out of an actor. "They're making brilliant dramas."

Previously, he was also a part of Dil e Gumshuda which was another one of Geo's most popular hits, according to the actor.
