Your favourite Disney and Nickelodeon stars united for a Ramazan message
Drake & Josh star Drake Bell, Mean Girls' Lindsay Lohan, everyone's favorite hotel manager from Suite Life of Zack and Cody Phil Lewis, Hannah Montana actor Jason Earles, Jennifer Stone from The Wizards of Waverly Place, skateboarder Tony Hawk and others wished Muslims on the arrival of the holiest month of the year, Ramazan!
The stars appeared in a video uploaded to nonprofit Paani's Twitter page. The nonprofit was excited to bring out everyone's favourite childhood memories and might have given us the most wholesome 79 seconds on the internet today.
Paani is a USA based nonprofit organisation dedicated to drafting and implementing clean water solutions in South Asia. When an IMF report noted that Pakistan will be one of the most water stressed countries in the future, a group of Pakistani-American students from the University of Michigan eating at Wendy's felt they could help solve the problem. From that vague idea grew what is today a successful student-run initiative, having installed over 1,000 wells in the region.
The students' efforts are commendable, they work completely on volunteer bases, making sure every penny donated goes those that need it.
Getting back to the video, Hawk took the opportunity to also thank the Paani team for their efforts. Maria Canals-Barrera, the mother from the Wizards of Waverly Place, was the most impressed in our opinion, and said "Wow! How wonderful that you're building wells in South Asia! That is so kind and so generous, especially during a pandemic."
People liked the video and loved seeing their favourite stars wishing them a happy Ramazan.
They felt some Hollywood stars could take notes from this video.
Islamophobia is over?
People loved Mr Moseby's part.
And they wished videos like this were made when they were kids.
What did you think of the video?
