Congratulations are in order for Usman Mukhtar, who just got married!

The Bench director shared beautiful pictures from his nikkah ceremony on Instagram. He wore a sequinned white kurta shalwar and stood next to his wife who was wearing a traditional pastel number.

Mukhtar also penned a heartfelt note for his other half, thanking her for making him the luckiest man on earth. "Zunaira Inam Khan...I haven’t felt such happiness in a very long time. You’ve stood by me in the moments I was down and amplified the happy moments. Been my rock and my support. I am blessed," he exclaimed.

He also addressed his fans, speaking to them about the intricacies behind his important day.

"Dear World — I married this amazing woman today in a small socially distant gathering. Our big day was supposed to be on 2nd April but due to the lockdown restrictions from 1st April we had to pull it back. We were tested and followed SOPs. We both need your duas and blessings," he said.

Friends from the industry sent the couple their love and best wishes.

Mukhtar had posted on social media earlier, pleading with the public to keep a safe distance from one another if they chose to attend weddings.

"I see your stories in shaadi places dancing chipak ke [closely] with each other. Stop it. Please follow SOPs!" he had said, encouraging them to take precautions.
