Ayesha Omar's new beauty line to launch on Women's Day
Actor Ayesha Omar is launching her own 'natural' beauty line on March 8.
Teasers for her new line, called Ayesha O Beauty, were posted on Instagram on Wednesday and showed her standing in a field wearing a flowy, white dress.
The brand promises to "nudge you gently towards natural, lasting and true beauty".
The line is being launched in collaboration with Hemani, the same group responsible for Wasim Badami's skincare line. Ayesha O Beauty is a beauty line but will heavily focus on skincare and wellness.
Omar is bringing her own experience with skincare products and the industry to the table. She has spent seven to eight months on the project, she told Images.
A representative for her explained that after being the face of multiple brands, such as Maybelline New York and Physiogel, Omar knows what works for her skin and what doesn't. That's why this was the perfect time to launch her own brand.
The concept of the brand is wellness and Omar will be endorsing wellness through it. The products are expected to be priced in the mid-range.
Lots of celebrities have launched their own beauty and clothing lines, branching out from acting and music. Urwa and Mawra Hocane launched their own clothing line named UxM, while Komal Rizvi launched skincare brand Truly Komal.
