The "pawri" is still raging on social media and celebrities from across the border are joining in.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor posted a video on his Instagram account in which he and the cast and crew of his upcoming series reenact Dananeer Mobeen's infamous "pawri" meme.

He has signed on for a digital series for Amazon Prime. In the video, Kapoor begins singing Akshay Kumar's 'Party All Night' at the end of the video.

He's not the only Indian celebrity who has hopped on the bandwagon with the trend.

Actor Randeep Hooda, known for Highway, Love Aaj Kal and Sarbjit, also joined in.

Vijay Varma, known for Gully Boy and Mirzapur, had his own twist on the trend.

The meme gained traction in India after producer Yashraj Mukhate made a remix of it. He previously made one on a now infamous line from Bigg Boss: “Tumhara kutta Tommy, humara kutta kutta”. That video has a whopping 45 million views on his YouTube channel.

The "pawri" video had 19 million views when this story was published.

The meme isn't fading out anytime soon. Pakistanis are still continuing to share videos of them having "pawris".
