Anushka Sharma slams paparazzi for invasion of privacy

Anushka Sharma slams paparazzi for invasion of privacy

"They still continue to invade our privacy! Guys! Stop this now!" she wrote.
07 Jan, 2021

Often feeling entitled to knowing every single detail regarding the lives of their favourite celebs, the media crosses the line when it comes to popular stars and them wanting to spend their time in routine, and away from the screens.

One such boundary was overstepped recently when the paparazzi, obsessing over soon-to-be parents Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, pictured them having breakfast in their balcony, despite being told to leave them alone.

The Dil Dhadakne Do star shared her disapproval on Instagram, where she was visibly upset over the situation.

"Despite requesting the said photographer and publication, they still continue to invade our privacy! Guys! Stop this now!" she demanded.

As a response, many fans took to school the said publication on the act, reminding them that just because the duo are public figures, does not mean their personal time should not be respected.

Anushka and Virat are all set to welcome a baby soon. The two made the announcement via social media with details about when the baby was due.

"And then we were three, arriving Jan 2021!" the two posted on their respective timelines.

They officially got married in a private ceremony in Italy, in December 2017.

@NYS Diana was not killed by the paparazzi. She was killed by certain people, because she and her lifestyle posed a treat to the british monarchy. Look up the documentaries and massive coverage with everything from statements from her body guard to witnesses watching and arriving at the scene. It does not support accidental death by high speed car chase. Princess Diana was murdered. It was no accident.

The price of fame is all the unwanted paparazzi attention. Not even Diana, Princess of Wales, could avoid it. Anushka and Virat better get used to it .

Anushka should have stayed home and be a Housewife If she did not want any attention. She does make her money by having people watch her. Right?

@D’Souza if there wasn't rampant misogyny and moral policing women, this would not be a Pakistani comment section. Misogyny and ignorance run rampant yet we pakistanis don't care.

@Mike why does she ed to stay home and be a housewife to a pub paparazzi? She can choose to not enter show biz then nobody would no her and the paparazzi would have no interest. But that does not mean the alternative is to be a housewife. She can be a lawyer, engineer, nurse, teacher, writer, journalist, chef, painter, designer, seamstress, cleaner, veterinarian, dietician, manager, business woman, investment banker, political analyst, police woman, officer, activist, astronomist, scientist, beautician, IT technician, stylist, nail artist, hair dresser, playwriter, mathematician, gastronomist, computer programmer, athlete, bus driver, doctor, herbalist, public servant, karate teacher, gymnast, skater, surgeon, etc. Or do you guys not allow women to be anything but housewives in India? Women anywhere can be anything they like while getting married, being mothers and wives and daughters and friends. It's called multitasking...
