Renowned fashion designer and television host Hassan Sheheryar Yasin has announced his TV acting debut with upcoming project Pehli si Mohabbat

Given a very peculiar look, he will be playing a character with an orthodox mindset from within our society. While not many names were revealed, Hassan confirmed Maya Ali as part of the star cast.

Moreover, speaking about venturing into the drama industry, Yasin revealed his decision to take up acting projects has a lot to do with the people involved. "For me the right team and content are critical in terms of influencing my final decision," he told Images.

"In the feature film, Ishrat Made in China I worked with a great team, the likes of Mohib Mirza, Sanam Saeed, Ali Kazmi, and now with my upcoming TV project the entire team involved from Maya Ali, to the writer Faiza Iftikhar, the director Anjum Shahzad, the production team at IDreams, just everybody! Looking forward to this journey."
