I have watched the entire series and i plan to watch again. i loved it and so much proud of our Heritage.

Why we have to look at Turks as our role models. We have our own heros too. We either consider arab/Mugal/turks as our root or g back to our original identity in south asia.

It's a drama worth binge watching. One of the best ever to come out of Turkey

Well dubbing and censoring. Turkish dramas don't live up our Pakistani "standard" of pseudo conservatism. Let's be honest. We even censor out words like rape when the drama is about rape like Ruswai. Turkish dramas go beyond that. I hope one day we can also tackle topics without censoring them. Openly and honestly so the world will also watch our dramas.

PTV the best channel of Pakistan even today if one wants to see quality specially now a days.

From the name, it sounds like a religio-nationalist production to stoke people's passion and have them dwell in a make-belief world made up of highly filtered accounts of history. The same world that Imran now lives in and wants all of Pakistan to live in also, the so called "Medina Model".

I have seen few episodes dubbed by ptv. Ptv has done a terrible job. The expression and body language of the character does not portray the sound. I have seen all five seasons of Resurrection Ertugrul but the main characters dubbing is such a failure. A total loss.

such a great effort by Pakistani television.......to urge and buildup the young generation with valuable quality and to teach them the art of war of Muslim during the struggling days of KAYI tribe to laid down the foundation of OTTOMAN EMPIRE......... RESURRECTION OF ERTUGRAL.

Ertugrul is the grand-dad of the biggest serial or series on Netflix. A class of its own. Very highly recommended.

Why not we glorify our own heroes? Why do we disown our own sons of soil? We are the custodians of Indus Valley Civilization, Takshela, Harrapa and many more. We have a history of Porus who faught againt Alexandar. Alas! Today we glorify Alexendar as Sikandar e Azam, and even we name our children after him but,unfortunately, we don't even know about Porus. The world will not accept our identity due to Turks, nor due to Arabs. We should own our own heritage and teach our own history to our youngs generation.

I rarely watch TV, however on insistence of my friend I started watching this drama and was hooked up to it. I think I finished all 7 seasons in little more than a month with a full time day job. Its worth watching.

Its a good pic by so many different means, teaches us how to respect different cultures and backgrounds and justice. PTV did a terrible job in dubbing. Characters body language is different from voice. Terrible job.

@Faran: This is just like saying why do we have to look at the older chemists or physicians or mathematicians from other nations when we have our own heroes from the 10th century. Stop looking for negatives in every thing. This TV show shows how a group of people and a nation fought against the Mongol oppression and also brought justice to the poor. So there is nothing wrong in watching history be it from anywhere in the world.

@Aman did you say " our heritage", what part of it is your heritage, are you a Turk or do you have any Turk ancestry, I guess not. Stop dreaming that you're somewhat of Central Asian ancestry and get back to realty

This urdu dubbed copy should be got into IOK and seen by all.

Our quest for Pakistani identity is crushed between finding the roots in Arab or Turk origin . We live in a false history and forgotten our original Indus roots. We cheer foreign invadors as our heros.

I watched this entire series and planed to watch it again . I loved this series alot and it is interesting also.

I watched the whole series, and enjoyed it, Even though it's not my heritage, I'm African American, Wished it had more series.....

1. I hope they maintain the picture quality as well, the video quality of some current versions in urdu is really bad 2. the show has lots and lots of gory details and blood flowing almost in every fight/battle and every episode and in my opinion is not suitable for ALL audience. Even in Netflix it has been rated for 14+ 3. BTW, does anyone know if the dubbing was done in urdu and in pakistan?
