Rishi Kapoor has some advice for Imran Khan regarding Covid-19 pandemic

"Pakistan PM should also advice his country to take adequate precautions," said Kapoor.
Updated 21 Mar, 2020

PM Imran Khan addressed his nation for the first time regarding COVID-19 on Tuesday earlier this week.

He asked Pakistanis to prepare for a coronavirus epidemic in the country but ruled out locking down cities to fight the disease. According to him, "there is no reason to worry."

Looks like Rishi Kapoor heard what our PM had to say and had a little suggestion for him.

Said the actor, "With all due respect, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan should also advice his country to take adequate precautions."

He went on to say, "People of Pakistan are also dear to us. Once we were one. We are concerned too. This is a global crisis. No ego matter this. We love you guys. Humanity zindabad!"

Imran Khan had indeed urged the nation to take precautions, discouraging large gatherings and encourage self-isolation for those coming from abroad. It is still nice to see Kapoor's message of love and unity in a time where the world is engulfed in a pandemic.

Adequate precautions and safety measures? Why? We have nothing to worry about. After all we are not part of the same planet, so we are safe in our bubble. It's the rest of the world's countries the need to to worry. We are an exceptional case. Our PM clearly knows his stuff.

IK never said not to take precautions, self discipline is something that our nation lacks, an economically weak country cannot afford a total lockdown but a partial lockdown can be managed if the need arises, it is not so hard to understand the precautions to be adopted in individual basis, everything is not government responsibility.

Mr. Rishi Kapoor, Humanity Zindabad. Good slogan. Are you seeing Humanity Zindabad in Indian occupied Kashmir and Delhi? Are you seeing the genocide, massacre, lynching, torturing, killing, etc., of the Muslims in India and Kashmir? Send this slogan to Mr. Narendra Modi, Mr. Amit Shah, BJP, RSS, Shiv Sena, Hindutva, etc. Please don't teach Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi, teach yours.

@AZAM AKBAR Mr. Azam Akbar, We must not be critical to anything and everything...Rishi Kapoor whose family migrated from NWFP may feel some kind of affinity with that part of region or becomes nostalgic and wanted to convey a very simple message. We must not expect someone of his stature behave like a stateman or a politician. More over, he is one of the few who would raise sane voices on many issues, from time to time.

May be it takes a blow of austerity and a common enemy to make our hearts become bigger and awaken the goodness that lies dormant within most humans. We in India wish nothing but the best to our Pakistani neighbors, and the rest of the world the very best of health and prosperity and the lest damage from this Corona virus, and I assume the same feelings are reciprocated towards us. Let us take this opportunity to forget our past enmities and hatred and start a new era of love and understanding
