As Pakistan confirms two positive cases of coronavirus, some people are apparently using this as an opportunity to cash in on a impending global epidemic.

Protective equipment such as masks have either completely vanished from medical stores across cities, or are being sold at exorbitant prices, and the rage is going viral.

Many have taken to Twitter to express their anger and disappointment at the inhumane hoarding and profit-making strategy:

People are clearly not happy

More like Rona Virus

Desi Money Heist feels

So much for 'ghabrana nahi hai!'

Karma, you watching?

No fear of Judgement Day huh?

Protection but make it fashion

If making crime is profit, I am arrest

Not all superheroes wear capes. Be like Quetta!

Is this Islamic Republic of Pakistan? Why, yes, yes, it is.

These people need to learn about capitalism. When demand rises while supply remains constant prices are bound to increase. It's got nothing to do with islam.
