Shatrughan Sinha meets President Arif Alvi on his trip to Lahore
Updated 24 Feb, 2020 12:10pm
Remember when you all thought it was a lookalike at a wedding? It wasn't!

Veteran Indian film actor Shatrughan Sinha met President Arif Alvi at the Governor House here on Saturday.
They talked about promotion of peace in the subcontinent.
President Alvi highlighted Pakistan’s peace initiatives, including Kartarpur corridor and expressed his concerns over the human rights violations in held-Kashmir.
Mr Sinha, a former parliamentarian and Congres leader, is visiting Pakistan to attend a wedding.

Isn't it intriguing that our president goes out of the way to invite an out of favour Indian politician Mr. Satrughan sinha who came to Lahore to attend a wedding. Mr. Sinha didn't ask for the meeting. Though Mr. Sinha tweeted thanks to the president for the meeting, he didn't mention anything about political discussion. Our president did.

Total hypocrites. On one hand the government is talking about closing down visas and contacts with India. And yet this Indian actor is allowed for a wedding and the President of Pakistan wants to meet him and get his photos taken together. Shame on you. Who are you fooling?

Lets not be personal and undignified in showing our displeasure, it promotes toxicity and is neither Islamic nor sub-continental. Even differences and enmities require a subtle grace to become meaningful
