Actor, producer, investor, retired professional wrestler, and now a father of a rising WWE woman superstar - seems like ‘The Rock’ has a fancy addition to his already rocking resume.

Simone Johnson, the 18-year old daughter of ten-time world champion Dwayne Johnson, is all set to begin training a WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

In an Instagram post where the father-daughter are seen sharing a heart-felt hug, Johnson also expressed an abundance of love, joy and delight for his daughter being the first fourth-generation woman to enter the ring.

“Dreams ain’t just for dreamers. Congrats to my #1 born, Simone Johnson on officially signing her wrestling contract with @wwe @wwenxt and on her way to becoming the first ever 4th generation WWE athlete.”

If that wasn’t enough, he also offered up his unconditional support, determined that her daughter will succeed in whichever path she carves out for herself.

“Carry our family name proudly, but your road will always be yours to create, earn and own. So proud. Live your dream. Let’s work.” Parenting done right.

WWE Royalty and fourteen-time world champion Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, seems to be all praises for the superwoman. Also acting as the Executive Vice President for Talent, Live Events & Creative, he said:

“Simone Johnson’s unbridled passion and incredible drive has earned her a coveted spot training with the elite athletes from around the world at the WWE Performance Center. Not only does Simone now have an opportunity to cultivate and display her passion for WWE within the Performance Center, but she’ll carry on the tradition of her incredible family lineage while creating her own impact as WWE’s first fourth generation Superstar,”

Simone released a statement of her own when the news broke out.

“For the little girl who fell in love with wrestling & was determined to make this dream a reality - this is for you. I’m beyond thankful for this opportunity and ready to get after it. Let’s do this,” she wrote wearing a WWE Performance shirt and flashing her brightest smile.

Proudly following the footsteps of not just her father, but also grandfather ‘Sweet Ebony Jonson’ i.e - Rocky Johnson who was a Canadian wrestler, and great-grandfather ‘Fanene Pita Anderson’ who was a Samoan-American professional wrestler – seems like Simone is all geared up to carry on her family’s stellar history, and we expect nothing less legendary.

We’re excited to watch her journey unfold and wish her all the best. Meanwhile, hope that our desi parents take a hint wink wink.
